Today the company operates with its own showroom in Milan, managed by a local team and selected agents and distributors. Margon distributes its products through a high-end distribution network, using carefully selected, sophisticated multi-brand retail channels.

INSPIRATION
It all started with a skirt! Margon was founded in 1965 by Fiorella and Gianfranco Maronati. The name of the company was formed by the first 3 letters of the surname "Maronati" and the first 3 letters of the word -"gonna", meaning "skirt" in Italian. In the early 70s, shirts and sweaters were added to create the first coordinates. In the 1980s, the coordinates became a total look.
The company is positioned in the highly specialized women's prét-à-porter market and directly handles the entire production process: the design, the purchasing of materials, the careful selection of collaborating workshops, up to the final quality control inspections and shipment of the garments.

Behind the brand is a long tradition of tailoring, in which a drive towards excellence, respect for human values and a deep passion carried from generation to generation, work in harmony. While maintaining the historical identity of the brand, the company pursues a continuous process of renewal and updating of the collection incorporating current fashion trends.
Innovation comes also through the application of handcrafted techniques to modern concepts. Finished garments are transformed by painting processes, treated by hand, giving them uniqueness and exclusivity, so that each item of clothing truly becomes a work of art.
