Le Mémoire is a thesis, an instruction manual, a story, a play on words in which the term “memory” is dressed in femininity, thus referring to its most intrinsic meanings. It is a meeting between the past and the present, between tradition, at times invasive, and the ability to make fun of oneself. It is a biography that is however the story of everyone, or rather of all those who want to live consciously. It is the unwritten testament of a modern woman, Maria Rosaria, a Neapolitan noblewoman, who expresses herself in her shoe collection. It is Tullia, the daughter-in-law, who decides to collect that delivery and not keep it just for herself. It is the search for young designers who can update the underlying message in new models that do not betray the original ambitions. In the summer of 2020, thanks to the panorama of the Coast, Tullia founded Le Mémoire, summarizing in a name the ambition to revive the finished time, proud of elegant traditions, without having to give in to the melancholic nostalgia of the past. She thus decided to make Maria Rosaria's collection available to young designers, inspiring them to re-propose those same shoes with their own style. The first designer was Benedetta who curated the first collection. The accent on the è in the name disguises itself as a rising moon, a symbol within a symbol, of tides and change, of feminine strength. The moon that is born and renews itself, like the past that is alive and reinvents itself.
