The Collection masterfully translates their mystique into refined footwear that evokes a sense of wonder and grace, reminiscent of floating flowers and flowing water. At the heart of the Collection is the Water Lily, the flower of the Nymphs, symbolizing purity and elegance, and a motif that gracefully threads through the season’s designs. Delicate Water Lily petals, meticulously cut from the softest leather, adorn ballet fats and heeled sandals. The motif is also found embroidered in cotton thread on mules and knee-high gladiator sandals, adding a handmade touch that reflects AGL’s dedication to artisanal craftsmanship. To offer a fresh interpretation of natural elements, the Water Lily is further abstracted and reimagined in raffia on transparent organza, blending contemporary design with heritage, ensuring that every piece feels unique. To enrich and enhance the contemporary Nymph, AGL makes a skillful use of embellishments such as hand-sewn crystals, each applied one by one like hidden treasures unearthed from mythological realms. While for the more minimalist aesthetic: metal eyelets, or a multitude of perforations replace the floral motif, once again highlighting the extreme attention to detail and refinement of the Collection.
